I've just finished paperwork detailing things that have happened between the last day the last Guardian was here and now, so I do currently have a minute.

[She paused for a moment, she had to put something down.]

What do you need to talk about?

I want to make certain that all of the Guardians have a full understanding of what type of person Ragyo Kiryuin is before accepting or denying her deal. I won't say whether you should or shouldn't accept, but I would like to make sure that you understand what kind of person she's proven herself to be through her own actions.

If it helps, I wasn't exactly planning on accepting. While they could be a good idea, most of the people I accepted as Deputies already have magical abilities that probably don't need boosting or are a dragon.

[Doesn't need to say much beyond that really.]

But still having a full understanding will probably be of benefit.

Regarding the incident with Koishi Komeiji being infected by life fibers that she alleges someone stole from her, I arrested her for obstruction of justice. Essentially every piece of evidence was tainted by her and made inadmissible- the only thing we have pointing to someone else is the delirious confession of the man she brought in. Which is what I would like to speak to you about in regards to her character- the rest is in the report, but I feel I should share that her treatment of the man who confessed to that crime was like he was furniture. She never showed remorse for her actions, nor did she seem to think she was wrong in any way before or after legal punishment. There is no respect in her actions for life unless she deems it worthy and she doesn't respect the laws of this land, which makes me question just why she cares so much about pushing the Guardians' offices to use her wares to protect the city.

I'm sure that your people don't need it any more than mine do. We don't tend to hire those who can't handle themselves in the City Guardian offices for safety reasons. I'm glad you're not, but I still think you should be aware of what happened.

[While she was talking, Yukiko made sure to listen, while at the same time checking on some paperwork. When it was over, she was quiet. That...sounded horrifying to say the least.]

When you say it like that, it really doesn't make much sense if she lacks a care or respect for those who are Guardians and deputies. [Which honestly makes it suspicious beyond belief.]

Which actually worries me.

Guardian Amagi? My name is Goro Akechi. I know this is rather unorthodox to go introducing oneself this way out of the blue but I've been quite keen to talk to you ever since the elections. You see, your name is actually one I've heard at home. Your inn used to get mentioned before my segments on TV occasionally so I believe it's more than likely we're from the same world.

Just Yukiko will do. People calling me Guardian Amagi is still a little strange to me.

[Even though technically she is the guardian.]

I would have guessed something like that. Small world. But I have some free time right now so would you mind me asking what it is you want to talk about?

Yukiko then. I can understand that. Titles take a while to get used to. I've had plenty of ones I wasn't sure I could answer to.

It is surprisingly small, isn't it? Well. I'm sure you can take a guess since our fearless leader probably asked about this already but your information mentioned something about a persona? Did you have a team as well? I understand awakening one can be an incredibly personal experience so I won't ask about that part.

It worries me too. It's one of the reasons I wanted to share despite that you've already decided not to take her up on it.

[ None of it seems consistent with someone who's claiming to want to help. ]

That is correct. The persona thing, I mean.

[The other she isn't going to be open about because she doesn't actually know they are the leader. She just knows she spoke to someone about it.]

I also did have a team a very close team that I still kind of miss after being here for so long.

That must be lonely. I can imagine you must have all been very close, if our own experiences are anything to go off of. It's certainly a bonding experience.

Do you think personas always awaken in a group? It's quite curious, isn't it? Were they all within the same age group as well? I wonder if there's multiple groups all over. Or perhaps only one group awakens every so often due to a certain set of circumstances like an uneasiness in the general population...

It most certainly is, but I guess that is to be expected when they help you from the beginning and we helped others along the way.

[That was a good question. Yukiko goes quiet as she starts to think about it.]

Well they awaken individually but I guess as numbers grow it...makes sense. I mean from what I know age group is always similar or within a year of one another and the reasons...well I can't really say, but I guess uneasiness makes the most logical sense.

What did you do to help others? Did you change their hearts?

[ He hadn't realized this went so deep. His own investigations into the Metaverse and what he was told from the research never said anything about there being another group before. It's actually exciting, if not a little irritating that he had to do this all on his own the entire time when there's likely at least three other people out there. All well. He's better off, right? ]

Hm. It is a lot to think about. Though theorizing about how it works isn't going to provide all the answers while we're here. This one is going to be unsolved for a while. A detective's job is never done, I suppose.

[She shook her head slightly, to be honest when she thought about it the only people they really helped were their team mates, one extremely creepy assed person, one child who was too pure and innocent for that world and taking care of the people behind it... Give her a moment or five.]

Change their hearts? No, we didn't do that. We helped by confronting peoples shadows mostly. A part of themselves they didn't like.

[She nodded though she paused for a moment. yet she honestly didn't seem that surprised at the mention of him being a detective, but then again use to Naoto and considering how old she was...]

You're a detective? Considering how you are asking questions, I really should have guessed. A friend of mine probably would be doing something similar.

I can't say I remember the show well enough to list them by name but the white one?

[ He can wait for her answers. This is the only person he's talked to outside of the Thieves who can give a first-person account of everything, after all. Just confronting the shadows sounds closer to what he was doing on his own. He never even thought to steal desires until Morgana said it. ]

Hm. We did confront the shadows but we also stole something from them. I wonder how different the changes that occurred were. Did the person act completely different afterwards?

[ If only she knew he actually inherited that 'Detective Prince' title from her. ]

Oh? I'm a bit too obvious, aren't I? I bet I would have gotten along with them. You can tell me to stop if I ask too much.

No, there were no changes to a person. I mean apart from the usual outside the world talking and changing from interactions with friends.

I have no preference. However, I have the most experience with housekeeping and general maintenance, so your job of a maid would fall easily under my ability.

[ Small pause. Her tone of voice still doesn't change. ]

In addition. Your patrons may or may not find me strange. I would not be employed long if I hurt your business as a waitress.

I guess with your abilities Maid would be the better idea. As for patrons, why do you think they would think that?

Well if you work as a maid your interactions with them would be limited, so you wouldn't need to speak to them often if that helps.

Often, people see the help as invisible.

I usually put that down to the fact that they only clean after one has gone and before more people check in.

So I guess it's true.

... At what location would I be starting? I see within the CPU records you have two.

Nothing in particular, just thought maybe we should get to know each other and see if there was anything that you know of going on that I should be prepared for. Weiss didn't mention any special projects between the two of you but I thought I should check anyway, just in case.

Or if you have any general Guardian advice, I'm open to that. Not that I don't think I can't handle the job, but I didn't exactly prep for this position just yet.

I don't really know much going on, I know at one point the Guardian of Attleton wanted to do a group meeting, but beyond that, I have little to no knowledge of anything. I know I am working on a couple of things, but nothing major.

As for general Guardian advice. I can say this from my own experience at least. There will always be people who don't have the same views as you. There are people who will also use what you say or do in the past as a reason to belittle you and make you look not as good for the job than you are. if that ever happens, just keep going.

As for which one, where do you live? it would be best to work at the one you would be closest too. If neither are, in the future there will be more inns.

You said Andor wanted to hold meetings? Or the Guardian before him? It’s not such a bad idea when you think about it.

it is, but sometimes people make it more public than others because it isn't going the way they want it.

It was Andor. I had a meeting with him shortly after we both took the post. But I agree it's not a bad idea.
